LogBox-DA es un data logger con 2 canales, siendo uno para medición de señales de pulso y otro para medición de señales continuas en tensión o corriente, aplicado típicamente en el monitoreo y registro histórico de caudal y presión de fluidos. Es un dispositivo autónomo y versátil, totalmente configurables por software en ambiente Windows o PalmOS, que ofrece además recursos para adquisición, ploteo, análisis y exportación de los registros
La comunicación entre el LogBox y la PC o Palm es realizada e pocos segundos por medio óptico infrarrojo sin contacto. Su resistente carcasa a prueba de agua permite aplicaciones en los lugares más difíciles y remotos.

EL software LogChart II permite la configuración, adquisición, visualización y exportación de datos. Para comunicación infrarroja con el LogBox se utiliza la interface de comunicación IrLink3, conectada a la PC por puerto USB o RS232.
El LogBox puede también ser configurado y recolectado por PalmTop con sistema operativo PalmOS. Esta opción elimina la necesidad de notebooks para adquisición y reconfiguración, reduciendo costos y aumentando la portabilidad. Los datos adquiridos de múltiples LogBox pueden ser posteriormente transferidos a la computadora utilizando la herramienta de sincronismo nativa de Palm. Una vez transferidos, los datos pueden ser visualizados y exportados utilizando el software LogChart II.
